Kayak for public land

I am looking at the Ascend H10 or H12 kayak for hunting deer on public land. Does anyone have experience using a kayak on public land? Any suggestions on which one works the best? I hunt WMAs that typically back up to a river and/or creek. Thanks!
Good luck to you. I don't have the balance for em but no doubt some can. My youngest son is amazing in one. He started teaching whitewater kayaking at 14. Wouldn't doubt him doing it for a moment. I second what you been told already be prepared to get dunked just in case. Please keep us updated on how it goes for you.

It’ll work, but I’d only do it in the right conditions. When it’s really cold and windy I won’t even take my 17’ bass boat. Getting wet when it’s cold just isn’t very appealing much lately. But it’s doable and I’ve had my share of adventures crossing Allatoona.

A canoe is the way to go. You could take a few hundred pounds of camping and hunting gear and still bring out a 200 pound buck.
