Georgia is looking for a new offensive coordinator, as Todd Monken has accepted the offer to be the Baltimore Ravens’ offensive coordinator.

I feel like Bobo might be the most long term option as well as a proven O.C. Some feel McClendon will be a head coach some day. I don't know anything about Faulkner.

If I recall correctly, Bobo's offenses his last two years at UGA averaged more points than Monken's the last two years.

Also Bobo was announced earlier as the new Georgia OC. Will will see how good he does. Monken did say that Bobo drew up a good amount of the red zone plays. As long as Bob does not doe before like. Run Run, Pass.

Let me put it into "terms" in the south.


When we "DO" get snow and like the old days of watching the news to see what "school distract" was closed and then you would see that annoying but 24/7 employee's are to show up. College coaches are the 24/7 employee's. NFL coaches are the teachers.

Problem is. The money for the 24/7 employees is starting to over ride the teacher salaries.

Thank god for the Free Market.

Hate to see Monken go, but I think BoBo will surprise everyone. Monken had said earlier what a great asset BoBo was and how much he used him for game planning.

BoBo was the next highest scoring offensive coordinator with 41.1 pt per game average.

From what folks say, they’d better have a middle man, the guy that left for Tech apparently was between those two - made for good success though can’t argue that!
