Need a Beagle

I dont know if you and your wife found a dog. I saw this on the news last week and was unable to find the website till this morning. Carolina Poodle Rescue got last week 7 or 8 full blooded beagle's in. I think they may be from same litter. Below is a link to website. It's the available dogs page just scroll down. As you know we lost our last two beagles last year, one in February and one in August. Our oldest son’s wife was pregnant so my wife said she would like to wait until the first of the year so we could travel to see the new grandchild.

An old friend called today and said he knew we loved beagles, and one had taken up at his house. They had taken him to the vet to see if he was chipped and posted on the lost dog boards, posted signs in the area, but no response.

The wife agreed to take him and return to the owner if they ever showed up.

Meet Ranger. ~1 year old male.

My wife said we wait until the first of the year to start looking for another beagle. The phone rang Jan 2 and an friend said a young male had taken up at there place. A week or two later antharper drops a note saying a friend had a rescue too.

Madman that made my day , glad Scout worked out ! Not all Beagles are meant to be hunters .

I looked for these dogs for an hour, figured they had slipped off.

Found them in the the tractor shed.

Looking for a good home for him. Loves sitting in your lap in the chair, and seeing you off to work in the mornings. Works well on leash. Sleeps in crate (with help of a treat).

Fine looking pup , to bad you can’t keep him . He looks right at home . Hope he finds the home he deserves or you find his owner

Got home from a funeral in N. GA and he came out from under the porch trying to get in truck. 3 Benadryl and some lap time. His tail is wagging again.

He is back in the woods today with his nose on the ground.
