Pine Log WMA Camping

Because it does not seem to overlap national forest land, I have to ask if camping is permitted anywhere on Pine Log? The DNR page lists "primitive camping" as a recreation there, but there seem to be no designated camp areas on the arcgis map of the place.

Pine Log and Paulding allow camping, but there are no designated camping areas. Most camping is done on little pull-offs. Some camp along Stamp Creek, but the areas are limited especially since they have many roads closed this time of year.

I agree with Danny re Stamp Creek. There’s another area that might work as a campsite near the smaller of the two dove fields. It’s marked on maps as a wildlife opening but is sometimes used as parking during dove hunts.

Been many moons since camping with my grandpa there but he would pull his little scotty off on a grassy side of the interior roads and that was home for the hunt.
