Prayers needed for old college roommate family

My old college roommate, David Owens passed away tonight around 9 PM from cancer of the esophagus. David was 42 leaving a wife and one son who will graduate this year from high school.

He was to leave for Houston, TX for his second round of chemo last Sunday, but had been in the hospital since Wednesday before Thanksgiving.

Today while I had planned on an all day hunt, his Mom called around noon to tell me that it did not look good. I came home.

Please keep David's family in your prayers during this time of sorrow. I will be heading to Bristol, VA as soon as I know the arrangements.

Very sorry you lost your friend. Had not forgotten your previous request for prayers for him and will continue with them for his family. May God bless all with assurance of His promises and may they find peace and comfort in them, especially at this time of year.
