Did you buy ones for that were RemChoke?

Are the threads near the muzzle or back a bit?

It’s possible it was converted to choke tubes depending on the age of the barrel. There are a few different ones it could have been converted to.

Winchoke, Invector (not Invector Plus) and the Mossberg chokes are the same.

RemChoke is Remington.

These are the most common.

Then there is Crio, Invector Plus, Trulock, Briley, etc.

Often if it is an older barrel from before choke tube times and it is not WinChoke or RemChoke the. It may be Colonial. They were common for conversions in the late 80s and apparently had a proprietary choke and threading.
