Single Man Ladder

Looking for a decent cheap single man ladder stand. Primary use will be shooting my bow in my backyard from an elevated position. I mostly hunt out of my Summit climber, but may put this up on a piece of private.

Mostly a bow hunter, so I don’t need or want extra gun rails, etc. the simpler the better. Most of the one’s I’m seeing shopping all have mesh sling seats. I worry about longevity of those seats for squirrels and weather.

How do the mesh seats hold up?
Can you still get a metal one?

Family Traditions isn't a cheaper stand...but the squirrels wore one I kept up and out pretty good where I had it. Once I learned that part and got a replacement seat...strap tension is really high....I would just un-bolt it from the ladder at the end of the year and put it up.

they probably hold up good in weather...nothing is safe from squirrels. I have to keep a bag of ties here at the house to tie the chain link back to the top tube where they chew them off

Big game would work for you. That or a hawk. Shooting rail isn’t an issue on any of them . Just don’t put it on for bowhunting.

Those mossy oak brand from Walmart were about perfect! They inexpensive, no rail and that claw that will grab the tree as you cinch it down with a ratchet from the ground……makes for ez self install.

That little clamping claw thing really does help.

A couple manufacturers offer something similar Now too. It’s Real life, I’m probably setting it up by myself even though I shouldn’t…….I like the clamping device for sure!
