Smallie Smackdown

Hit the Tennessee River again yesterday. More current than there has been in a while. Guess that and the approaching weather system got them fired up. Four fish on the first four casts of the day. It was on fire for a couple hours and then it slowed but remained consistent until heading to the house about 2:00. A few decent ones mixed in, the biggest going about 22”. A couple on topwater still, some on various Shad imitating baits, and a bunch on a mix of large and jumbo shiners on a split shot rig. Interestingly enough, this is usually a mix of species. Yesterday was all smallies except for two LM. Not the first spot. Fun fishing!
