My cousin saw this snake under her door step in south fl. I told her maybe a copperhead. Anyone know?

Those aren't hourglass-shaped marks. In a copperhead, they run crosswise on the body, and are narrower in the middle. That is a corn snake, as Nic said, or maybe a milk snake. Hard to say for sure which one without seeing the whole snake.

Good one to have around. He'll stay until all the rats/mice are gone. Calmest of all the ratters for sure.
