Yeah, it's warmed up some to most of Y'all and got slap hot to me.. but "Mrs. Daisey" wanted something to warm her up a bit.. so I obliged .. a "nearly" all day slow cook vegi-beef soup.. with a side of cornbread and for me a cold glass of whole buttermilk.

I shore do miss my Grandmother's Vegetable Beef Stew.

Sometimes she would make it just vegetable and it was good too.

Soon be 24 years she'll be gone and I sure do miss her.

Dad's Mom was always just vegi, "Daisey's" Mom added what ever meat was handy.. yard skratcher, pork (if it was boil'n season), tree rat.. what ever she could toss in just to add that much more to it. I had some ground on hand, so fried it up to add in. Neither made it to this millennia, but I sure learned a lot from both.
