spadefish

caught some spadefish last saturday, never caught any before but i heard they were good to eat, how do yall like to cook them?

no wrong way. but it's hard to beat any fish that's been dusted with zatarans(sp?) and dropped in the grease! (spades do eat good)

If you like the taste of ammonia, they're great. We have tried them several ways and nobody that I know likes them... unless that's the only thing on the table.

I have never liked them either. I love goin fishin under a bridge with a cane pole and catchin a pile of them, but usually i just give them away or let 'em go

Hmm...never heard of spades inshore. Usually piles of them around the inshore reefs.

yeah we caught these a few miles out, i didnt think they came inshore
