The Kid and Little Brother and their "Sniper Rifle"!!

Apologizing in advance for a little bragging, but The Grands have earned it today.

Both of them just went 5/5 on 20 gauge shotgun hulls at 100 yards...

The rifle is a Savage MARK II FV-SR .22.

The scope is an older Phillipino Simmons 3-10x44.

The ammo is CCI Standards.

Shooting was done off a picnic table, Harris Bipod and rear squeeze bag.

They have learned a little something in several thousand rounds, and having a gun range on site.

I'm proud of them!

Congratulations to them! 100yds with a .22LR is really lobbing them in there. You about have time for a sip of coffee before you see if you hit the target or not. Great work and keep encouraging them!

Yep, with the sun just right this morning, and only 1070fps, you could watch the bullets go downrange in the scope.

When they both hit 5/5, they said "Let's quit for today, it'll only get worse from here!"
