I attended my first DNR public meeting last night in Thomson and was impressed with the turnout as well as information provided. There was probably 175 hunters there and from what I could tell,the overall consensus was pro-baiting,wanted scopes on muzzleloaders,wanted to decrease the bag limit on does to 5-7,wanted hog hunting rules relaxed,(including bait),and were split on the #of acres/fence topic.I urge everyone to try and attend one of these if possible.
