My mother really wanted juan of them fer Christmas, sez u can cook a cheekun in 8 minutes in it. I guess I need to git juan n find out.

I would be eating at 11 pm if i tried the sous vide. Stuff. i just don't plan meals that far in advance.

vaccum seal or put it in a ziplock and take the air out. If you want your steak medium rare, go with 130 degree water. I put hot water a few degrees hotter than what i want to cook too then put the steak in and close the lid. I monitor with a thermometer in there. open 2 hours later and your steak is ready to sear. At least thats what i did before I got a 100 dollar sous vide wand now i set it in a tub to whatever temp i want to cook to. Most of my steaks are done around 122 or 123 for about an hour depending on thickness then sear. I also regularly just grill them without sous vide as well, just depends how i feel.

Martin cooking steaks in his bathtub. That just done seem right.
