Been on the road for the last couple weeks, seeing sights, camping, fishing, and eating pretty good. Here's a few from the road.
Penny's Diner in North Platte, Nebraska.
Makenzie River Pizza Company in Rapid City, South Dakota. They were all excellent, but my favorite was the Stockman. Steak, bacon, pepperoni, hot Italian sausage, cheddar and mozzarella.
Can't leave out the best part of camping...breakfast on the Blackstone every morning!
Rio Grande rainbows grilled over coals. Fried taters not pictured.
Breakfast burrito from Opie's in Creede, Colorado. Eggs, cheese and chopped brisket. Paired nicely with Tapatio. This was legit.
You can't visit the Queen of the Cow Towns and not order a slab of beef! Ribeye from the Cowboy Capital in Dodge City, Kansas.
And tonight, the last night on the road... ¡Molcajete! In Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Waitress told me most people can't finish it. I ain't most people.
