So, we left the boat ramp about 7 - 715, took a 30 minute ride. No keepers on the first drift, but enough shorts to try again. On the 2nd drift the wind changed and pushed us to the southeast and we picked up a couple of keepers. Tide switched to incoming about 930 and we picked up 3 more keepers. bite turned off about 1015.

We moved 3 miles east, picked up 5 and were packed up and headed to the boat ramp about 1145.

Fish were in 5.5 to 6.5 feet of water.

No Gulps were harmed in the making of this fish story.

I reiterate, make sure you have something pearl/glow white with a chartreuse tail in your tackle assortment.
