Worm ?

Anyone know what kind of worm has a small head shaped similar to a hammerhead shark. I've noticed them on my walkway and driveway from time to time especially after a rain. They look like a typical earth worm except for the tiny head on them. I'm thinking possibly a tape worm, though I have no animals of any sort except for the neighbors dogs next door. I know they have gotten me leary about walking outside bare footed...

I have seen the type of worm that you're talking about.. I've found them more in wood piles or under logs, etc. than anywhere else... I have researched and never found what they were...
