I got a 54 not really knowing how fast the bullets go but on muzzleloader bullets the bigger the grain or caliber the faster or the opposite.Also if u get powder that got wet and want shoot how do u get that bullet out take the nipple of then the screw in the barrel.

Depends on your loads for velocities, there's a lot of variances to this.
You can get a "ball puller", looks like a screw, that attaches to your ram rod, screw it into the ball and pull it out. If that don't work, unscrew the breech and push through with a wooden or brass rod, "no steel rods" for this.

if u have an air compressor u can remove the nipple and blow the charge out
