These were made by SKB.The last one I saw on an auction was yesterday and it was listed with a "buy it now"price of $399.

Its chambered for 3 inch shells... I might have to shoot a turkey with it...

If it's an SKB, they generally are good solid guns that are undervalued due to people's unfamiliarity with them.

Not familiar with that particular gun but SKB service is good and they generally support private labeled guns. I'd have no reservations about heading to the woods with it.

Your's is a early recoil operated gun. I have a friend who has used 1 like that as his quail gun for the last 30 or so years.

I have a SKB 1900 12 gauge that I use year in and year out for everything from dove to ducks and Ive even killed a few turkey with it!! Its one of the lightest shotguns Ive ever owned!
It has never failed, jamed or missfired, Ive probably fired close to 3,500 rounds through it at the sporting clay range at occonne gun club. IT was used when I bought it.
SO far its the only shotgun that I have ever found that fit me perfectly from the factory.
I wouldnt sell the SKB for a million dollars. Best shotgun Ive ever owned and I have had over 20......

I had one like it. I gave mine to Aaron's son. It did not have the engraving. My Dad gave it to me for my first gun when I was 9.
