Eleuthera Bonefish....

My wife and I are headed to Eleuthera to chase Bones on the fly next month. Been stocking up on Crazy Charlies and Gotcha patterns. Also weedless crab patterns. Anyone done a do it yourself trip to Eleuthera and have any recommendations as far as flats to fish and patterns to try? thanks.

Said he was a real nice guy and that he had a blast. Not sure what part of eleuthera you are going to, north, south, or central, but this guys rates aren't really all that bad. Whatever you decide, have a blast and post some pics when you get back! :cheers:

Thanks Kingfisher, first thing I did was book Paul for the first day we will be there. I know a few folks who have fished with him and say he is a great guy. We are staying at a house on Ten bay but plan to fish as many places as possible.

I know you have the Gotcha's, Charlies, and Merkins covered but I hear that the 'ol Gummy Minnows are THE top fly down at Los Roques. Might be worth giving them a shot. Either way, hope you tear'em up!

I've been to Eluthera twice and it is an amazing amazing place. Not touristy at all. Just a beautiful island with great people and amazing water.
