How do I hunt them?

I have a group that are either roosting in 1 of 2 places.

First place is just off propterty line on back side of clear cut. There is a large ag field on other side of roosting area. Lots and lots of turkey sign in clear cut, so I know they are using it. I just have never been type to sit and wait on a bird so I dont know when I should be in the clear cut.

Second place is a large swampy area consisting of ditches a large grown up clear cut and hardwoods.

Any helpful tactics from the turkey thugs would be appreciated.

I'd be running a trail cam to see when they are coming to the clearcut.

no trail cam that is why I was asking you guys. do birds typically like to strurt their stuff early in morning in openings or later in day?

Birds like to strut all day if thy think they can impress a hen. I guess since you don't have a camera your just gonna have to wait them out.

I agree with A3. Go see where they are roosting and get in between em and the clear cut!

Well I know where they are roosting just had questions as to when birds typically hit the open areas.

How do I hunt them?
