First Turkey Down

Got my first turkey (cowbells...).

I called a Gobbler at the end of the season last year while hunting with the wife, but she didn't make a great shot. Didn't matter though because I was hooked after hearing it gobble. During this Fall Season I called in multiple Jakes.

This weekend finally got my first shot at a Gobbler and took it at 35yrds.

9in beard with 1 1/8 spurs. Browning BPS with JellyHead.

Nice bird and congrats. Was across the border last weekend west of Callahan on a lease but didnt hear one gobble. Called in a mess of hens and waited for a while but he didn't show up.
