i need to replace a couple windows. exterior is vinyl siding. interior is sheet rock return. no trim,stool etc. whats the best way to do this?

Depends on the type you buy, they are so simple a cave man can do it and it takes only @ 30-45 minutes per window for a novice. Check your local supplier, he'll show you the best route to go.
