I have area of my back yard i can plant its about 1/4 acre. I was wondering what you all think of this mix. .
Everything is 5lbs of seeds austrian winter peas, chufas, crimson clover,iron-clay peas, rape, red top turnip,"grain"rye, soy-bean,sugar beets. I was thinking this be a good year around food plot for deer & turkey. Any in put would be grateful

I have a small 1/4 acre plot and I have had the best luck with oats, wheat and some clover. 1/4 acre is really too small for soybeans and peas. You can also add a few turnips or beets but if you plant to many, they will shade out the clover.

If you looking for a year long plot then use oats, wheat, durana clover, crimson clover mix. The clover will come on strong in the spring and durana will last thru the summer. Deer will get use to coming to the plot. The problem is the small plot size and deer density.
