All in a days work. Troup County 10-21-06 pm. Shot by my main man Beau Shelnutt! Way to go little NUTT
Since the weekend is slowing down I have time to give some details of the hunt. We were in a foodplot on a powerline ROW planted in wheat, rye and clover. I really feel this buck heard the commotion a spike was making chasing a doe and grunting like crazy for 30 minutes. He entered the edge of the plot and raked his horns through limbs, urinated on his back legs and stood facing us at 200 yards for 10 minutes. Needless to say little nutt was about to shake us out of the stand. THe buck finally turned broadside and he nailed it with a .308 from 200 yards and the buck never moved! This is truly a blessing and a tremendous amount of fun. I wish everyone luck this year and hope to be able to share another hunt here with some great guys!..........NUTT
