Hey - that's cool

I go to a woodworking club near me on occasion and some of the guys there turn pens too. I've never tried it but it looks like a blast. Some of them turn deer horns too into pens that are awsome. I gotta try this.

thanks all for those kind words...yes Burl, those spotted pens are of a material like Corian...easy to turn but have to be careful that you don't overheat them when you apply the hot friction finish or during the sanding phase.

people have asked me for prices...they range from 15 to 35 bucks a piece depending on the type of wood used, etc.

I have seen these with my own eyeballs, they are very nice! And you are right, they are lousy photos!
Get that shop set back up and start turning!
