Anyone ever had the op to hunt gobble heads in Virginia? I received an invite this week to a 600 acre farm that is supposed to be loaded with birds. Anybody got any feedback? Never hunted birds out of state....

Do it! I mean, won’t it be the same as hunting them here? Turkeys don’t know what state they are in. Sounds like a great place to hunt too! Give it a shot. Good luck!

Hunted White Top Mtn. Va. in the fall. Good turkeys and pretty country up there. You will enjoy it. Richard

Heading there Thursday. They can be big birds, 20-25lbs are common.

I would get speeding tickets goin somewhere where 25lb birds are common!!!!!!!!!!!
