It's a fox...has a tail and you can make out the muzzle when you enlarge the pic.

Tie a rope to a chicken's leg, anchor the rope to a tree or post in a clear opening and wait...

Ok, if it is a fox, yote, bobcat, feral cat, or wampus cat the methods those trying to help have suggested will take care of it.

Trapping is most likely to get rid of him and others.

I've been saying this for years... but I don't reckon just a stomping on fire ant nests ain't enough to satisfy that 'need' to just go out and blow the guts out of something? LOL
