What's your favorite lure for surf fishing?

...just joking, seriously.
If I am surf fishing I am south of Jacksonville or west of Dog Island. so this may not apply to Georgia Coastal fishing. My favorite is a Pompano jig tipped with shrimp or a disc cut from a gulp bait. Catches many species.
