yeah those are rare where I hunt. All my spots are set up for a north or northeast wind, with my approach from the southwest or south. I have a couple of "plan B" spots for the occasion curveball though.

glad I'm not the only one....the best 2 spots I have require a west wind

Seems we dont get that until fronts start moving through. Approaching fronts usually swing through west at some point.

Typically west winds are later in the year.
