I noticed that all the replies to my original thread received NO responses from the female members. You ladies are the ones that I thought I would hear the most from and would receive the most valuable advise from.

Let me ask a different question to the ladies, "What would you do, how would you react, and how long would it take to get over it if your husband did something (similar to taking you kids hunting) that was against your strongest wishes.

The only part about him hunting that I hate is when I can't go with him!

As far as him doing something that was very strong against my wishes... well I would hope that I would know about that before we were married and be able to live with whatever it was, otherwise I would not have married him in the first place :huh:

i think the reason your not getting responses from the ladies is that most if not all either hunt or enjoy the related things of the outdoors and hunting.i would suggest you go to the better homes and gardens forum and poll them.
