Old timer and friends grandson

Hunted this am in calm and cold weather. I had shot my second buck last Saturday, so only does in my future. Thought I would go with such nice conditions to be in woods .My friends grandson was hunting at the stand I shot the buck on sat. I was in another a ways away. At 8:45 a spike comes in front of me, at 9:15 a doe, and then at 9:45 a shooter buck. I would have shot him and ended my season right then, but I was tagged out. I hoped he would go by friends grandson. In a bit I heard one shot,a second one, and a bit later a third one. At 10:15 I climbed down and headed to the house, he was on the phone telling his mother he had just shot an 8 pt buck. Biggest one ever for him. What an excited young fellow. Great memories. Will try to post pics.
