Maximus Relaximus and I had a great time today as always! Round trip to the Crooked Creek Bridge is about 5 hrs. We paddle and set up on the outside hour and fish the middle three and come home.
Today the bite was a bit slower. I had one “Pre-Bump Twitch” early on followed by a good run with a nice fish pulling off. Finally, we were able to put one in the boat!
I’m beginning to be concerned about my partner. He is a good net man when he stays focused, but he loses interest rather quickly.
He will perk up a bit however, when he is offered a Vienna Sausage.
We love our trips out there and back and when we catch at least one I’m happy. (I don’t like to blank or get skunked.) It was a great afternoon even though we did get caught in a brief shower. I hope you enjoy the pics!!
