Just shot a big doe with the muzzle loader. Been 27 years since I shot one with a muzzle loader. Been strictly a bow hunter it felt good to pull the trigger.

50 caliber CVA Kodiak 100 grains of powder pellets and a power belt bullet. Shot was 81 yards. DRT.

Very nice. Kodiak. I will look that up. Sounds familiar like I have seen one, but this past year, I have looked at so many smoke poles, I can't remember which ones I have seen and haven't seen.

Congratulations, nothing like that big puff of smoke.
After bowhunting yesterday morning I shot my CVA Optima .50 just to be sure it was still on.
First two shots dead center at 100 yards but I shot it eight more times just because it was fun.
I use 100grs BH with a 250gr Hornady SST Sabot.
