If you have a common cold, it will run it's course, regardless of any over the counter products you take. For aches and fever, you can take several OTC brands of anti inflammatory/pain reliever products that may reduce those symptoms. For nasal congestion, try a saline solution nasal spray. If that doesn't give you relief, try a generic brand of Afrin.
