when to fertilize?

Planting clover and oats food plot. I have My soil test results back. I plan on spraying this week then spreading my lime and plowing the following week. I know I should wait to fertilize in the fall but just wanted to ask the experts.

Yup, you can spread your fertilizer just before you plant in the fall! Just work on weed control, till then!

What will you use for that planting? Triple 13, Triple 19 or something else?

Your soil test should have the recommendations for both lime and fert.

Yes it had all the lime and fertilizer info. I just was making sure I was thinking right on the time frame.

Yep, I would lime now and fertilize just before or while planting.
