Russell Beard of BeardHunter Turkey Calls has made some of the most realistic sounding pot calls I have had the pleasure of running in 36 years of turkey hunting. The double sider he has just come out with has a good scratchy nasal rasp on the glass even at low volume. The slate on the back gives really soft trilly purrs and clucks. Russell has done a super job on these. He has also made some slates with a corian soundboard that are piercing calls yet played soft they still deliver a high pitched scratchy yelp. His calls have a really good rollover and are pretty moderately priced. Glad to see another Georgia boy come up with something this good. These really are killer calls.
