No deer yet but the squirrels are thick in here. These white oaks must be loaded with acorns.

In a box in Brooks County. Food plot planted a couple weeks ago is popping up nicely next to some standing corn. Been snake bit this trip to the farm. It’s like my deer have disappeared … not even seeing them on trail camera after dark! Hopefully at least one shows up this evening. Just looking for a buck at least 2-1/2 years old w/ a minimum of 8 points. Good luck everyone!

It's ladies night, 7 doe so far. 1 spike, a 3 point. Need Grandpappy to show up. Edit: 8 doe. 9 doe. Spike back with a 1 pointer tagging along.

Nothing here so far. Sun is down behind the trees and everything is still. I can see about 400yds across the cut to the other wood line so we're covering a bunch of ground.

Got wife in stand with me tonight in Greene County. Usually sits once a season. Have had 2 yearlings and 2 spikes on the plot so far.

White oaks are loaded pretty much everywhere this year.

White oaks are loaded pretty much everywhere this year.

Not in meriwether. Acorns of any kind are few and far between

Spent the PM hunt making the 5 hour trek back home from South Georgia. I sure love it down there and the return to Atlanta traffic makes me love it that much more!

Saw 4 does close to dark...425yds across the clear cut. Hogs never showed up.
