East wind has picked up quite a bit over the last 30 mins.. Almost done here..

Thought it was over when here they come again. This time I hear a deep grunt and the doe comes right back up the creek with the six pointer right on her. He’s pretty wide and definitely the best of the bunch, but it’s too dark and they were moving too fast.

At the last minute 4 deer came in. All does not enough light to see through the peep.

What a crazy hunt. Honestly, the six pointer was the only one I’d consider using my last buck tag on. I told myself when I was watching him through the binos that if he gave me a chip shot I’d take it. Too bad he waited until it was almost dark to come by at less than ten yards. Fun hunt though!
