.22 LR ammo testing with a Glock 44

I did unscientific and informal .22 testing with my G44 after work tonight. I was a little off as a shooter though. I simulated my local range’s indoor match course of fire, but did not change targets in the middle of the course.

10 rounds at 15ft, 10 at 25ft, 10 more at 25ft, 10 at 50ft, and 10 at 75ft in approximately 15 seconds per string.

I ran CCI MiniMags, Eley Target, CCI Pistol Match, CCI AR Tactical, then again with the Eley. I ran the Eley a second time because I thought my performance was off.

I also tested the new 6” barrel that I put in my suppressed .22 SBR.

Great report!

You hardly ever don't "get what you pay for".

IME, Federal Automatch is the least expensive ammo that functions well in semi-automatics and is also accurate.

Also, IME, the most accurate .22 LR ammo is Lapua Center-X and Eley Tenex but, is is stupid expensive, and I wouldn't bother using it in a pistol where money is not on the line.

I don’t need to go real high end for pistol at 75ft. I ordered 400 more of the CCI Pistol Match when I got home.
