.45 AUTO ...is it enough at bow range?

I've posted this in the deer section, forgot about this handgun section.
I want to hunt a hot spot tomorrow a.m.
It's thick and deer get on you quick.
Lots of pics of bucks cruising by at about 15 yards from my stand...making a rifle shot awkward.
Is .45 auto sufficient?
I have some +P rounds ...what say ya'll?

If you are a good shot and have decent bullets, then have at it!

I've got them with a .40 and a 9mm at that range, with good bullets.

Never lost a deer to a short range handgun shot.

I’ve killed bucks with my 1911 twenty or so yards plenty of times. My best results have been with Remington Golden Saber loads but Black Talons work fine as well. I’m sure there are plenty others that would do the job just as good.
