I like cold rather than hot but up here at the shack in the hills, Nov-March, the deer are grazing in the pastures eating the only green there is, all day long. I've hunted some cold years in GA where privet was ate up as high as a deer could stand.

I am not hit under the collar. I am wondering why an intelligent guy would make a statement like that.

Good question! What the heck are "golden crowns"? The other day grocery shopping I couldn't find actual "tater tots" but they had something that looked similar called golden crowns, but I wasn't going for it.

Na... it'll only freeze sheet water at 30.. Rivers and big lakes would be fine. Even if the big lakes iced over it would be only a thin layer wouldn't you think?
