Action Trued?

What does it mean to have the action trued on a firearm???

Typically it is a custom fitting of the action to the barrel on a bolt action centerfire rifle. In most cases it enhances accuracy and functional dependability.

WTM45 is right. It is the squaring of the action to the barrel to get everything in true alignment/centered. Some gunsmiths include truing the bolt and lapping the bolt in as part of this service.
