I’ve heard of folks taking a pocket full of rocks. They toss them out and they sound like acorns falling. They do this from tree stands.

When I boil muscadines down to make jelly, I save the leftover solid pieces and put them out for the deer to eat. They won’t let a single piece go to waste.
