I’ve had a thing for 70’s super bikes…since the 70’s! Picked up this sweet little ‘74 RD350 the other day. I plan on adding a ‘73 and a ‘75 to complete the 350 series. Got to love the smell and sound of a hot little 2-stroke!

I have owned a number of panheads in the past, presently own two shovelheads. A 79 FLH and an 81 FXS and an 85 FXWG. The FXS is a little firecracker. It is an 80 CI double plugged bike. It is in storage now, but here is an old photo (cira 1993) of me riding it to Cherokee for one of their rallies. Also a photo of me on the 85 FXWG on a Toy Run within the last few years (the top photo). 10391789_1090343237745_53436_n.jpg396697708_10218799524498136_6034131887465322099_n.jpg

I have an XS 850 special project that needs little work to get back on the road. Its been sitting for 12 years with 32,000 original miles. Cell phones and idiots on the road have kept me from doing anything with it.

Can't find picture but had a friend who was a customer at shop in Decatur, Owner had an overstock of 1970 BSA Rocket 3 750 3 cylinder bikes. He sold us 2 NIB for $1200 ea and we had to assemble them. Fred Green was the owner and he moved to Conyers at West ave Sold Yamaha there. Sold the BSA for $1200 and made someone happy.

I have a cousin in Lakeland Fl that had a 900 kawasaki in the late 70s or 80s. He told me that he rode from Daytona to Lakeland fl late at night in 54 minutes. Route down i4 through orlando. He is still alive..

I worked with a guy back in the eighties who rode an 1100cc Kawasaki. That bike was a beast. I think they were made from the early to the middle 80's. The 750-4 Yamaha that I had was enough for me. I wouldn't mind having an old bike to fiddle around with though.

An update on the RD350…I lost it and my brand new Kawasaki Z900rs to Ian last September. Now that we’re back in the house, I’m on the lookout to replace her. In fact, I intend to have a full set of RD350’s…73,74 and a 75.
