Are hogs still on Clybel / Charlie Elliot?

I've previously seen lots of hog sign around Fox Lake, but that was a few years back. Has anyone seen sign there recently? I know it's not the best WMA for hogs but I'm nearby.

Recently, not a lot of fresh sign. I was out there a few weeks ago and covered a lot of ground. Seemed like they had mostly moved out.

2 years ago I walked a few areas looking for shed antlers. Saw bunch of sign in the food plots. Im sure they are still there, just maybe not in the numbers as a while back.

Over many years, I have always found hog sign around Fox Lake but in 2023, I found less than I expected to. This year, if nothing else, l’ll have a nice walk in the woods!

I have not hunted any other WMAs as of late.

I’m local… and know the wildlife biologists working clybel. They are actively trapping and disposing of them, probably will never completely eradicate them but that would explain the recent drop in population….
