Are these points?

We were babysitting the grands today and part of their back yard is dirt and quartz, so much grass won't grow there. Over the years I've found pieces and some like these that looked like points or that they had been worked. I picked these two up and my granddaughter asked me what I was doing. So I showed her and told here that I thought they might be points or artifacts. So we got into a discussion about what they were and she asked me how old they were. She showed her mama when she got home and she asked me how old I thought they were (I think she was a little skeptical) and I said I don't know but I can ask. So anyone got any ideas? I know they're in rough shape but since the kids seems interested I thought I'd run it by some of you all.

They`re both points. Next time put a quarter in the picture with them, for scale. That way we can see what size they are.

Yea, no doubt they are projectile points.

Those are some pretty nice ones too! Some quart points are super crude, that material apparently really hard to work.

Crystal quartz works a lot like obsidian, but sugar quartz and most of the rest of that stuff is tougher than woodpecker lips.
