Bear hunting In November

This season will be my first season bear hunting in northern Georgia. My problem is that I can only hunt after October 31st. Is it worth hunting in early November? Are they to heavily pressured, and won’t be around? Will the bear still be on acorns? Has anyone had good luck in November?

Depends on the acorns really. If they don’t drop heavy then like @splatek said, they will probably not be moving much. Heavy acorn years produce a surprising number of late season bears in Nov and December. You are more likely to encounter boars later too, and they will be FAT. All the pregnant sows are gonna be in a den to give birth.
I would also avoid hunting where they do the bear dog hunts later season.

Hand down the best time to hunt bears is mid Sept-Mid/late October though.

Sorry, no bears up here. They’ll definitely be gone by November.

Depends on weather, location and acorns.
