Bow Bird

After several close calls early in the season to include gobblers hanging up just outside of range and missing a chip shot on a good bird I was able to stick one at 9 yards on a windy afternoon hunt. Hoyt Hyperforce, RamCat broadhead and a 49 year old Ben Lee box call.

congrats, thats great. Bow hunted them several times with a bow but without a blind it’s hard.

Let me clarify! I was in a blind. Much respect to those that do hunt without a blind. I’m not near good enough.

Well done. I just cannot sit in one place so hauling blind around is not reasonable. That’s probably why I have killed one . Nice bird congrats

I live on the family farm so I just leave blinds out all year for deer and turkeys.
