Ceramic Coating for vehicles

Just got a 2021 3500 HD and my son suggested I have a ceramic coating applied.

Has anyone had such a coating applied to a vehicle?

No. But my shop neighbor had his truck done. Apparently nothing will stick to it. You can just hose it off and it’s clean..

I will say, his truck is always spot free..

Mind asking him how much it cost and what system they used and send me a PM?

A kid I taught in school who does this type of work recommended System x. It seems to be rated high

There are several waxes on the market that are “ceramic”. I haven’t tried them but I’m interested. I didn’t know a commercially applied ceramic coating is available.

I was actually talking to a good friend yesterday that has his Ford Raptor coated professionally. He paid in the neighborhood of $1800 and that was with a repeat discount. Normally would have been just over $2000. It has a five year warranty from that shop. He did say it made a world of difference in cleaning.
